How to stop spending on things you don’t really need

and achieve more of what matters to you

In this short Insight, we’ll explore a simple way to stop spending on things you really don’t need.

And who doesn’t need a hand with that? 😉

The complete insight is covered, in the colourful video above.

Four questions to remember – and never forget

Elephants never forgetThe next time you’re struck by the temptation to spend, just ask yourself these four questions:

  1. How long will you have to work (in hours, days or weeks) to pay for this thing you’re thinking of buying?
  2. What other things (that matter more to you or someone you care about) could you put this money towards?
  3. How do you expect you’ll feel tomorrow if you go ahead and buy this thing?
  4. And how might you feel if you don’t?

Life goals

Now, why not explore that last question, and put off your purchase for one day at least, and ask yourself tomorrow, if you really need that thing?

The truth is that advertisers play tricks with your emotions to get you spending all your money today. But you can fight back, with the same psychology they use against you, if you ask those four simple questions above.

And if you do, you’ll have more of the money you need, to pay for the things that really matter to you, when you need them.

So please try this out, and let me know how you get on
